15 Years and Counting

It was 15 years ago, in March 2009, that the very first Tax Stamp Forum™ was held, in Budapest, Hungary, followed, in July, by the release of the first Tax Stamp News™.

Both newsletter and forum were launched at a time when there was little in the way of authoritative data and communication platforms for the tax stamp community, even though 140 billion tax stamps were being produced each year on cigarettes and spirits.

While the forum took care of providing an annual platform for bringing the community together, the aim of TSN (which would eventually become Tax Stamp & Traceability News™) was to bridge the information gap by providing news, information and analysis, at a frequency befitting this fast-moving sector.
